What is Moissanite?
Moissanite is a diamond alternative! Moissanite occurs in nature and was first located on meteorites. The moissanite that you see in jewelry is man-made, like a lab created diamond is. Moissanite is about 95% as hard as a diamond and has ALL of the brilliance and sparkle. It's recognized by the GRA and is graded similarly like a diamond is. In fact, high-quality moissanite (like ours!) will test "positive" on a diamond tester. Diamond testers check for the hardness of a stone, so that's why it tests positive.
